Homeie (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by Domera Technologies Private Limited. We help people find rental homes in Gurgaon, and the easiest way we do that is by chatting with you on WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website (homeie.in) or talk to our assistant on WhatsApp, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep things simple and collect only what we need to help you find the right home.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following, mostly because you choose to share it with us:

• Details you give us: your name, phone number, and email address (if you provide one), along with what you're looking for — preferred areas, budget, BHK, move-in timing, must-haves, and any notes you add through our website form.
• Your conversation with us: the messages you send our assistant on WhatsApp, including voice notes (which we transcribe to text so we can read them) and any links or screenshots of listings you share.
• Usage information: when you browse homeie.in, we automatically collect basic technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, through cookies and similar tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Understand what you're looking for and recommend homes that fit.
• Reach out and reply to you on WhatsApp, and keep you updated on your search.
• Prepare a short summary of your requirements to share with our verified broker and landlord partners so they can offer matching homes. You get to review how you're represented before this is shared.
• Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services.

3. WhatsApp & AI Assistant

We talk to you through the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's own privacy terms. To understand your messages and draft helpful replies and summaries, our assistant uses trusted third-party AI providers. We share only what is needed for this purpose, and our AI partners do not use your information to train their own models.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Broker & landlord partners: to find you homes, we share a brief summary of what you're looking for — which you review first. They receive only what is needed to help, not more.
• Service providers: trusted companies that help us operate, such as cloud hosting and database providers, messaging (Meta WhatsApp), AI processing, and website analytics.
• Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Homeie, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: if Homeie is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Storage & Retention

Your information is stored securely with our service providers, and may be processed in India or other countries where they operate. We keep your information for as long as we need it to help you find a home and provide our services, and as required to meet legal obligations. We may retain anonymized or aggregated information that does not identify you for analytics and improvement.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You stay in control of your information. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and you can stop receiving our WhatsApp messages at any time — just reply “STOP” or tell us, and we'll stop reaching out. 7. Security

We take protecting your information seriously and use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and limited, role-based access to safeguard it. That said, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember your preferences, and understand how it's used so we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well without them.

9. Children

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
